Soo-Siang Lim

Soo-Siang Lim is the Lead Program Director and Chair of the Coordinating Committee for the Science of Learning Centers (SLC) Program at the US National Science Foundation (NSF). The SLCs were established in 2003 to provide intellectual, organizational and physical infrastructure for addressing large-scale, complex problems about learning in humans, other animals and machines. 

 

Previously, Dr. Lim was the Cluster Leader for the Neuroscience programs in the Biological Sciences Directorate, and participated actively in a number of other large-scale, cross-disciplinary efforts within the NSF.

 

Prior to joining the NSF, Dr. Lim was an Associate Professor at Indiana University. She received her Ph.D from the University of North Dakota, followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
