Tom March began his professional career in 1987 as an English teacher, faculty head and district technology mentor. During this time he was recognized as a Teacher of the Year Finalist for San Diego County. In 1995 he was awarded a three-year fellowship at San Diego State University where he worked with Professor Bernie Dodge to develop the WebQuest model of integrating Web resources with authentic learning.
During this seminal era in Webdevelopment, Tom and two of his colleagues also created Blue Web’n, Filamentality and a range of Web-based learning approaches.
Since moving to Australia, he has contributed a number of Websites and frameworks such as Web-and-Flow, BestWebQuests, ClassPortals, The New WWW and CEQ•ALL (“seek-all”). He is a busy consultant and is regularly keynoting, facilitating and writing for workshops that are focused on the aspects of “Real, Rich and Relevant learning”.
